Migration Studies

Migration Studies is a 50-minute documentary that follows the emotional journey of ten students from George Mason University who travelled to Serbia in May 2017. The film chronicles meetings between the students, international aid workers, and asylum-seekers who are kept in refugee camps in the Serbian cities of Šid and Subotica while waiting for entry into Europe.

The film unfolds through successive encounters of the students and migrants as we hear both sides passionately share their personal stories.
